Your Legal Obligations
If you own or are responsible for commercial non-domestic or domestic properties, you are required by law to identify and safely manage any asbestos within your buildings. The law states that asbestos materials must be identified in buildings, especially when carrying out refurbishment works, negating needless exposure and damage to peoples' health. For commercial non-domestic properties, the law states that surveys must be undertaken to identify all asbestos materials present. For all domestic properties, where contractors are conducting work, the owners have a duty to provide a safe place of work, meaning a survey is again required.
Health & Safety
We have an excellent reputation for strict adherence to the HSE regulations and as members of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA), undertake work which is part of the ARCA site audit scheme. Approved, independent UKAS accredited analytical laboratories are employed to carry out all relevant air clearance and certificate of re-occupation testing.
